♥ Fashionably Moi! ♥

Wearing: Forever 21 Cropped Tie Waist Denim Shirt in Medium Denim; Hydraulic Distressed Cuffed Denim Shorts in White via Kohl’s; Seychelles Pickford Sandal in Gold; House of Harlow 1960 Arrow Ring in Gold.

Reading: Breakfast at Tiffany’s by Truman Capote. You have not fully experienced the beauty of Breakfast at Tiffany’s until you have read the novella. It is magical.

Glamourizing: Nails: mark Ibiza Sol Nailed It Trend Mini Lacquers in Tango. This color is a summer pedicure essential - j’adore! Lips: mark Ibiza Sol Marbleized Lip Gloss in Chica Coral. Eyes: mark I-Mark Metallics in Truffle. Oui, it is as scrummy as it sounds!

Listening: Mona Lisas & Mad Hatters by Elton John.

Adoring: Button Down Shirts that can be tied at the waist and styled with Citizens of Humanity’s Blondie High Waist Skinny Jeans and Giuseppe Zanotti’s Suede Ankle Strap Sandals with Crystals for a très Carrie Bradshaw-inspired look a la Free People’s Easy Rider Button Down Shirt, Patterson J. Kincaid’s Harlow Long Sleeve Blouse, and American Apparel’s Chiffon Oversized Button-Up. Chain-strap handbags – specifically, Diane von Furstenberg’s Harper Ostrich Day Bag in Blackberry, Rebecca Minkoff’s Mini MAC Clutch in Teal, and BE & D’s Tenley Shoulder Bag in Blonde/Black. Very little can compete with the classiness and sophistication created by a well-placed chain strap, n'est-ce pas? Love love! Leather jackets. Ideal for toughening up a floral frock in the spring and summer, and perfect for channeling one’s inner biker babe when paired with skinnies and chunky boots come fall and winter. My current covets? Herve Leger’s Leather & Bandage Perforated Jacket, Jen Kao’s Cropped Leather Smoking Jacket, and D&G’s Zip Front Leather Bomber Jacket. Je. Meurt.

Watching: 10 Things I Hate About You. Un petit confession…a part of me has always wanted to be Kat; j’adore her snarky personality!

Desiring: American Apparel Tank Dress in Ash Rose, White, Cobalt, Black, et Gray - oui, I want one in each haute hue. The loose aesthetic makes it easy, breezy, and oh-so wearable; whilst the daringly low scoop back adds a delicious dash of seduction to the overall look. J’adore! Rebecca Minkoff Cheetah Clutch in Natural. Do I need? Mais non! Do I want? Mais oui! Jen Kao Desert Grazer Skirt. The asymmetrical hemline and haphazard tie waist create the perfect primitive vibe. I’d top it with a Free People Lace Bandeau, beachy waves, and sky-high strappy sandals for the ultimate bohemian goddess look. Evanouissement!

Quoting: Stephen Chbosky - “It’s just that I don’t want to be somebody’s crush. If somebody likes me, I want them to like the real me, not what they think I am. And I don’t want them to carry it around inside. I want them to show me, so I can feel it too.”

Awaiting: Exes and Ohs: A Downtown Girl’s (Mostly Awkward) Tales of Love, Lust, Revenge, and a Little Facebook Stalking by Shallon Lester.

But enough about moi; let’s talk about…vous. Time to give me the lowdown on your life, lovers! What are you up to this week?

Fashionably yours!
